Ever since I was a little child, I wanted to take photos with that great camera my dad has brought from Russia. I was fascinated by photographs telling our family stories and capturing the happy moments in our lives. When I was turning twelve years, my choice for a birthday gift was clear to me – my own camera. I was very proud of my choice.

Four years later, when I was granted a scholarship and could study in America during my Junior high school year, Photography was one of many interesting courses I chose. I have learned how to develop films in the dark room and got to learn the basics of composition. It was a very valuable experience. Interestingly enough, I was also learning about the digital dark room at the same time – Photoshop. This fascinating and a very complex software got my full attention. I was ready to test all I learned during my Computing Course and go even further.

When I returned home, the market was already flooded by digital cameras and I was happy get one of my own. During my university studies, I had a chance to grow my skills bit further but it was only when I started to look for my own wedding photographer that I developed a strong interest in portrait photography. My life started to turn upside-down…

"Beauty can be seen in all things, seeing and composing the beauty is what separates the snapshot from the photograph." –- Matt Hardy
